MBA Students Assist a Client with a Relaunch

Students in new faculty member Tracy Nickl's MBA course recently completed an Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications consulting project. During the course, they assisted client Thanks A Ton with the relaunch of their e-card green gifting site. The students worked with the client to complete a SWOT analysis, define objectives, identify target markets/personas, and implement a marketing research survey. Based on the budget provided by the client, they then developed the marketing strategies and tactics, which included hiring micro-influencers on multiple platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook/Meta, etc. ) and creating custom campaigns and creatives. They provided a detailed implementation strategy and KPIs coupled with test-and-learn strategies to innovate in a cost-effective manner. They also recommended software and tools for efficiency and effectiveness. This culminated in a formal presentation and a VERY happy client! As Tracy says, CLU MBAs rock!
