Visit by the Austrian Consul General
The campus was visited by the Austrian Consul General for the Western United States, specifically Dr. Michael Postl, and consular staff member Michaela Kriechbaumer. During the visit, the guests met with President Varlotta for a discussion of higher education in Austria and the US. Afterward, the guests toured the campus with Dean of the School of Management, Gerhard Apfelthaler, and later wrapped up the visit with lunch with two exchange students from Austria who are currently spending a semester abroad at Cal Lutheran, Susanna Hermandinger and Andrea Doppelreiter of FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria.
