Business School on Rails!
On October 24, we went on our third annual Business School on Rails field trip. More than 40 students, faculty, and staff departed on the Metrolink train at 7:11 am and first headed to Burbank, where we visited Dhar Mann Studios, a 150,000 sq ft facility that has revolutionized content production and distribution. Scripted shows produced by Dhar Mann have more than 125 million subscribers across different platforms and generate billions of views each week. CEO and proud Cal Lutheran alumnus Sean Atkins himself gave students and overview of the business, conducted the studio walking tour himself, and engaged in a lively discussion with students. After taking the bus to Santa Monica, we visited the North American headquarters of Red Bull, where we met the CTO/CIO, Mr. Clemens Kogler who delivered an engaging presentation on Red Bull's business, answered questions in a Q&A session, and conducted a tour of Red Bulls corporate HQ, media center, recording studio, and performance center. Thanks to our corporate partners and our engaged students, the 2025 Business School on Rails was once again a resounding success! A full gallery of photos can be found here.
