CFA Ethics Challenge

On April 17, a team of SOM Students competed a the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) annual Ethics Channel at at CSU Fullerton. Guided by SOM Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies Ran Lu-Andrews and Philosophy professor Brian Collins students Hilda Arellano (Computer Science Major, Business Minor), Hasan Bobokhojaev (Accounting), Emily Jalisi (Psychology and Philosophy), Kenda Khatter (Music), and Aaron Yoshida (Business Admin) students had to analyze and evaluate an ethics case based on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, and then present their findings and recommendations to a panel of judges. Our team did not win, but we're proud of our students for participating and for their understanding of the ethical issues involved and their performance at the competition!
