DEIJ in the Workplace: People with Disabilities in the Workplace - Challenges and Opportunities
Organized by the School of Management DEIJ Steering Committee and masterfully moderated by Kyle McIntosh (Program Director EMBA, MBA, and MSM), we held our Spring event in the DEIJ in the Workplace series on "People with Disabilities in the Workplace - Challenges and Opportunities" on April 18. A full room of students, faculty, and staff were able to gather deep insights into the topic from panelists social entrepreneur Cindy Liu (Work Development Task Force for the CA Department of Developmental Services, Advisory Council for The Tarjan Center at UCLA, and Public Safety Racial Equity Advisory Group of Ventura County), Jacob Lesner-Buxton (Systems Change Coordinator at the Independent Living Resource Center), and Matthew Lowe (DEI Consultant at the Change Maker Academy).
