Latino GDP - More and more and better and better!

Our Center for Economic Research and Forecasting (CERF) keeps pressing forward on its groundbreaking LatinoGDP Research. Matthew Fienup and Dan Hamilton recently released a new article and press release concerning recently published new data. Their latest Latino GDP Report had already shown that Latinos contribute a stunning $4.1 trillion in output to the U.S. economy, and newest data now also shows that, for the first time in history, one of every five people living in the United States is Latino. In 2024, the Latino labor force grew 5.5 percent, the single strongest growth on record and 4.2 percentage points stronger than Non-Latinos. And, in addition, the Latino labor force participation rate now sits at an all-time high of 69 percent, 6.2 percentage points above non-Latinos.
