Cal Lutheran School of Management Class Hosts Grammy Winner

On March 25, MBA Adjunct Professor, Dorfman Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship council member, donor, and serial entrepreneur Kelly Kimball had a special treat for his students. Guest speaker Derek Ali, who won four Grammys for albums produced by Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Childish Gambino, and Killer Mike spoke about his journey from humble upbringings in Gardena to becoming the most celebrated audio engineer globally to tech-entrepreneur with his music ecosystem platform EngineEars. While not the obvious choice for a class on Business Planning, shared rich insights for life and starting business. THAT's how we do education at the School of Management!
